About the Journal
Founded in 2004, Diametros (ISSN 1733-5566) is a scholarly journal that publishes original research and review articles in both English and Polish. It welcomes submissions from all areas of philosophy, as well as those at the intersections between philosophy and other disciplines. An open-access journal, indexed by all of the most important databases (Scopus, Web of Science), Diametros is free for readers & authors. Włodzimierz Galewicz (Institute of Philosophy, Jagiellonian University in Kraków, Poland) is the founder of the journal and the editor-in-chief.

Call for Papers: Special Issue on Transparency in Medical and Healthcare Expertise

November 21, 2023

Diametros invites scholars and researchers to contribute to a special issue focusing on the critical theme of transparency in the realm of medical and healthcare expertise. This call is inspired by the article "Expertise, disagreement, and trust in vaccine science and policy. The importance of transparency in a world of experts" (available here).

 

Submissions:

 

- Commentaries on the Article: We welcome analytical and critical commentaries on the article "Expertise, disagreement, and trust in vaccine science and policy. The importance of transparency in a world of experts", reflecting on its themes, arguments, and implications.

- Independent research papers: Additionally, submissions of independent research papers exploring broader issues of transparency in medical and healthcare expertise are encouraged.
