Abstract

The article is a reflection on a question that is raised from time to time, both among philosophers and others: Is there progress in the development of philosophical thought? The purpose of the article is not to provide an unambiguous answer to this question, but rather to consider common views on the subject, which result from initially accepting assumptions, often unwarranted, on such issues as the essence of progress in science, the understanding the history of philosophy, or the essence of philosophical inquiry.

Alicja Pietras

Alicja Pietras, dr, pracę doktorską zatytułowaną Postneokantowskie projekty filozofii. Nicolai Hartmann i Martin Heidegger napisała w Instytucie Filozofii Uniwersytetu Śląskiego w Katowicach pod kierunkiem prof. dra hab. Andrzeja J. Norasa, obecnie pracuje jako adiunkt w Katedrze Filozofii Akademii Pomorskiej w Słupsku.
