  • Academic Psychiatry – “Publishes original scholarly work focused on innovative psychiatric education, professional development in academic psychiatry, and leadership by psychiatrists in the field of medicine. The journal features work that furthers knowledge in psychiatric education and stimulates improvements in academic psychiatry. Articles address teaching, research, and administration, as well as clinical, organizational, and economic issues relevant to the academic missions of departments of psychiatry.   • Psychiatric Services  – “Established in 1950, is published monthly by the American Psychiatric Association for mental health professionals and others concerned with treatment and services for persons with mental illnesses and mental disabilities, in keeping with APA`s objectives to improve care and treatment, to promote research and professional education in psychiatric and related fields, and to advance the standards of all psychiatric services and facilities.”


  • Schizophrenia Bulletin – “Seeks to review recent developments and empirically based hypotheses regarding the etiology and treatment of schizophrenia. We view the field as broad and deep, and will publish new knowledge ranging from the molecular basis to social and cultural factors. We will give new emphasis to translational reports which simultaneously highlight basic neurobiological mechanisms and clinical manifestations. Much of the Bulletin content will be invited reviews and manuscripts organized as a theme by special guest editors. Also, the Bulletin will carry unsolicited manuscripts of high quality that report original data related to theme issues or where the Bulletin can provide a special venue for a major study.”
