A. Guidelines for bibliography. The bibliography should include both publications explicitly cited by the author and those which have been used by him.

a) for books:

Plato [1968] - Plato, The Republic of Plato, trans. A. Bloom, Basic Books, New York 1968.

b) for books belonging to a series:

Aristotle [1939] - Aristotle, Nicomachean Ethics, trans. H. Rackham, in: Loeb Classical Library. Aristotle, vol. XIX, William Heinemann, London 1939.

c) for journal articles:

Irwin [1995] - T. H. Irwin, Prudence and Morality in Greek Ethics, "Ethics" (105) 1995.

d) for articles published in a collection of articles:

Burnyeat [1984] - M. Burnyeat, Aristotle on Understanding Knowledge, in: Aristotle on Science: The Posterior Analytics, ed. E. Berti, Editrice Antenore, Padua 1984.

B. Guidelines for preparing footnotes. Bibliographic entries as shown above will make it possible for footnotes to have the following maximally simplified form:

- Irwin [1995]

- Irwin [1995] p. xxx.

- Irwin [1995] pp. xxx - yyy.

In case of repeated references to the same bibliographic entry, the following forms are recommended, though not required:

- Ibid., p. xxx. / Ibid., pp. xxx - yyy.
