Requests to authors

We would be very grateful if authors of prospective texts for our Lectures section kept in mind the following functional and formal suggestions.

As regards functional matters, it is very desirable that the lectures included in our section be devoted as much as possible to fundamental issues – and hence that they not be overly specialized – and that they present these issues in terms that will be understandable by non-specialists.

As regards formal issues, we would be grateful if our lecturers could prepare their texts so as to make them easy to read in electronic form. We suggest that each lecture be divided into a number of sections, each headed by a short title. It is also advisable that, in addition to the titles of the entire lecture and of the main sections, each lecture be accompanied by an outline (synopsis) containing a brief description of its content (one or two sentences per section). As regards bibliography and footnotes, please see the suggestions found in Guidelines.
